About the Inglewood Lawn Bowling Club

Inglewood Lawn Bowling Club

The patch of green grass with the neat blue and white clubhouse at the far end of it, situated on the corner of 8th Ave. and 12th St. S.E., holds a lot of Inglewood history.

The club officially became the Inglewood Lawn Bowling Club in 1946. The north half of the clubhouse was built about this time, all with hand labour and willing hearts. It is very much an Inglewood green.

The facility handles club activities, and is also available for company or community functions. Whether on league nights, at interclub jitneys, or for special occasions, we are proud to keep the sport of lawn-bowling "live and rolling".  We welcome your interest and support.

The club currently has 200 registered members, and along with weekly drop-ins and club rentals makes it one of the largest participating lawn bowling clubs in the City of Calgary.
